Mommy's Helper

Lilly has become a high-attention toddler lately. Not that I think it's unusual, I just think she's developing and wanting to be more interactive with kids her age, or anyone for that matter. That makes the days we hang around the house more interesting in actually getting things accomplished.

While trying to make pancakes I decided I would let her "help" me cook them...it beat her whining standing between my legs! I used to do this when I was little and have fond memories of putting on "cooking shows" in the kitchen with an old butter tub, some water and my mom's spice cabinet. So I gave her a bowl with a little water and the lemon halves I was done using...she had a blast. And surprisingly, the clean up wasn't too bad.
